Noke' means "heart and mind" in kwak'wala, my Indigenous language. I educate from my heart and mind.

I am a Kwakwaka'wakw Mother, Daughter, Sister and Aunty and a member of the 'Namgis First Nation. Culturally,  wealth comes from being able to give to others. I am offering quality childcare that reflects my cultural teachings. Teachings include that children are unique, capable, independent humans who have gifts to share. We spend plenty of time in nature and appreciating the cycles of seasons and changes. Children are members of their community and learn to be respectful, kind, safe and inclusive. It is my hope that I transform childcare to more home-like and community minded.

I hold a BSc in Psychology from UVic, and a Diploma of Indigenous Studies from Camosun College. I attended Selkirk College for Early Childhood Education and received my certificate from the Early Childhood Educator Registry in July of 2023.
