Noke' Childcare

Noke' means "heart and mind" in kwak'wala, my Indigenous language. I educate from my heart and mind. It is my belief that I must teach them to use their heart first.​

 I am Kwakwaka'wakw and I am a member of the 'Namgis First Nation. Culturally we believe that your wealth comes from being able to give to others. I am offering quality childcare that reflects my cultural teachings. Teachings include that children are unique, capable, independent humans who have gifts to share. We spend plenty of time in nature and appreciating the cycles of seasons and changes. Children are members of their community and should learn to be respectful, kind, safe and inclusive. It is my hope that I transform childcare to more homelike and community minded.
